Dissemination Programme

UKRIO contributes to the national and international promotion of integrity in research. This involves promotion of our work at conferences and other events, as well as promotion in journals and in the press.

As part of the dissemination programme, UKRIO has co-sponsored or contributed to a number of major conferences and workshops on research integrity and misconduct in research.

In April 2008, UKRIO, along with Research Councils UK, Universities UK, the Wellcome Trust and other organisations, co-sponsored a policy workshop on the Governance of Good Research Conduct in the UK. The workshop was held at Keele University and further details, including copies of the presentations made at the workshop, can be found here.

Forthcoming events

UKRIO, Universities UK and the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) are co-sponsoring a conference on tackling plagiarism and academic misconduct.

The conference will be hosted by Universities UK and takes place on Wednesday 19th November 2008. Further details, including a draft agenda for the conference, can be found here.
